The last 19 months dramatically changed how every organization thought about how work could get done. Moving forward, most organizations will be comprised of people working from home, in the office, in different time zones, and with more flexible schedules. What didn’t necessarily change are the things that women struggle with – being heard, being seen, ensuring we receive the right career development opportunities, and being sure we weren’t overlooked for promotions. What has changed with the last 19 months is the added challenges we as women face of being virtual and the career questions that arise. Will being virtual impact certain aspects of my career growth? Does “out of sight” really equal “out of mind?” Will I be able to work remotely and still have a successful career? What can I do to make sure my work is recognized? and what will my career progression look like in this new work environment?
Crystal Barney, Head of Global Talent Management for asset management giant T. Rowe Price, shares her best advice for thriving while working in a remote or hybrid environment on November 17, 4-5 p.m. Register at https://teleworking.eventbrite.com. Virtual Zoom credentials will be sent to registered attendees only.
