Our annual scholarship is designated for a female, high school senior who demonstrates academic achievement, proven leadership, and persuasive writing.

2019 STEM Scholarship Overall Winner ($2,500)
Congratulations to the 2019 recipient of the Women In Defense (WID) Mid-Atlantic Chapter Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education Scholarship, which provides funding to female high school seniors pursuing science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers related to the national security and defense interests of the United States.
This year’s $2,500 WID Mid-Atlantic Chapter STEM Education Scholarship recipient is Amy Pham of Aberdeen High School.
We also had four honorable mentions. Each received $500 in honor of our 2019 RW3 Symposium keynote speakers, Mr. Larry Muzzello, SES, Deputy Commander, U.S. Army CECOM, and Ms. Sharon Sputz, Executive Director of Strategic Programs, Data Science Institute, Columbia University:
