Women In Defense Mid-Atlantic Chapter would like to thank everyone who supported us in the 11th Annual Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration Walk.
Between our walkers and our donors, we exceeded our goal and raised $1,025 for UM Upper Chesapeake Health Cancer LifeNet Services!
In total, the CCA Celebration Walk raised almost $94,000! This money will be put to good use, offering a free network of care and counseling services to patients seeking cancer treatment in Harford and Cecil Counties.
Our walk team on Saturday, May 11, was small but mighty and included walkers from ages 1 to 97!! We were also thrilled to be featured on the front page of The Aegis, the local Harford County newspaper.
